Marisa Albanese

Marisa Albanese  was born and lived in Naples (1947 - 2021) .   

Drawings, sculpture, video and photography are the languages ​she used in her installations.She has exhibited in numerous public and private venues both in Italy and abroad and has  realized sculptures on public commissions. Her most recent exhibits include: Apparent Horizons, Olga Korper Gallery, Toronto, Canada, 2019; Il viaggio di Jane Auer Bolwes, Davide Gallo Gallery, 

Milan, 2018; Le storie del vento, Studio Trisorio, Naples, 2016; Sentieri di mani, Palazzo Poli, Istituto centrale per la grafica, Rome, 2016; Pensiero e Materia. Visioni contemporanee alla Certosa, Certosa di Capri, 2016; Doble Cel, Centre of Contemporary Art Casal Solleric, Palma de Mallorca, 2015; Fuori dal giardino, Museo Diego Aragona Pignatelli Cortes, Naples, 2014; Combinato disposto, Torre Guevara, Ischia, 2014; Cosa ferma le altalene, Studio d’arte contemporanea Casagrande, Rome, 2012; Un battito d’ali, Studio Trisorio, Naples, 2012. In 2014  she worked with a group of young people at risk from the Scampia district in Naples. She has  realized artistic projects with migrants on the island of Lampedusa
