Jim Shaw 

Jim Shaw (nato nel 1952 a Midland, Michigan) è un artista americano con sede a Los Angeles. Laureato all'Università del Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (BFA 1970-1974) e al California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles (1975-1978 MFA), Jim Shaw utilizza riferimenti alla cultura americana (cinema, pubblicità). Le sue opere contengono costantemente una storia attraverso la ripetizione di simboli e motivi.
