DONALD BAECHLER
Donald Baechler (born in NY,US in 1956) is an American artist who currently lives and works in NY City. In the 80s he participated in the emerging scene of the East Village and, together with Jean-Micheal Basquiat, Julian Schnabel, Andy Warhol, he became one of the main exponents of the american neo expressionism and the pop art movement. Pop icons, symbols of the American culture, were always present in his works. His work is recognizable for the introduction of the collage technique that distinguishes most of his works.
